Ambulance service staff were facing an investigation today after pictures of them playing pranks in a control room were posted online.
Paramedics and call operators working for the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust were pictured in a variety of poses including a conga line and with a vacuum cleaner.
Another photograph displayed on the publicly available Facebook page showed a worker asleep at his desk with headphones on while apparently on duty at the trust's HQ in Banstead, Surrey.

In another photograph, a woman appears wearing headgear with velcro balls attached.
One worker was also pictured wearing a tutu in snaps that have been branded unacceptable.
A trust source said: 'They're bringing the service into disrepute.'

A spokesman for the trust said: 'South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust is currently looking into this matter to establish the circumstances surrounding the creation of the images and therefore is unable to comment further on this case.
'However, the trust takes any breach of its policies and procedures very seriously and will be issuing a reminder to all staff on their duty to act professionally while at work and also on the appropriate use of social networking sites.'
The trust covers a 3,600 square mile area including parts of Sussex, Kent, Surrey, and North East Hampshire.
It employs 3,200 staff at 70 sites and received 619,000 emergency calls in the year 2009/10.
