Her new single Hold It Against Me went to the top of the iTunes chart in the U.S. the week it was released.
And it looks as if the video for Britney Spears's song will not disappoint her eager fans either.
The singer posted a sneak peek photo on her Twitter page with the caption: 'Day 1 of the HIAM shoot with [director] Jonas Akerlund. Such an incredible experience. I think this will be one of the best videos I have ever done.'

Then on Sunday she wrote: 'Day 2 is a wrap! #HIAM video coming soon....'
In the lo-res picture, Britney is on set standing with her back to the camera and her face turned toward it.
Wearing a red outfit, she is the centre of attention surrounded by a cicle of microphones, in a reference perhaps to her life in the spotlight.
Her hair is thick and tousled in a loose ponytail and her make-up is sexy and smoky.

Choreographer Brian Friedman also kept fans updated on the video shoot through the weekend.
'Good luck 2 @britneyspears and all of my incredible dancers,' he wrote on Saturday. You all have surpassed my expectations and I am so thankful for ur hard work!'
And on Sunday, he continued the praise, tweeting, 'What a fabulous day on set of HIAM! @britneyspears killed it! She danced her ass off! Great work 2 my dancers too... Y'all slayed!'
Fresh faced: Britney hugs her manager Larry Rudolph at the recording studio
Meanwhile songwriter Claude Kelly is opening up about the yet-untitled album.
'It's way more edgy than the last album,' he says. '[It's] more in the vein of the album before.
'The last album [2008's Circus] was more clean pop. [Its purpose] was to reintroduce Britney to the world as the pop princess.
'She's always ready. Dr. Luke and Max Martin are running the show, and it's all about the beats. It has a heavier bass line and it's much harder, more urgent, more club. She's ready again!'
Shopping: Britney and Jason make a stop at a local pharmacy to pick up supplies
Aside from her new album, changes are happening in Britney's relationship too.
Boyfriend Jason Trawick has signed on again at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, which means he is once again her agent.
But the 39-year-old won't be the only one handling her career, a source tells Us Magazine.
'Jason will be part of the team handling her career,' the source says. 'He won’t be the only agent working with her, he will handling acting endeavors, but there will be a big music department also on her account.
'Jason is someone the family trusts, they know he will make the best decisions for her and she feels comfortable with him. WME is absolutely the best choice for Britney. They are the best at what they do and her team recognize that.'
